Interior landscape designers Indoor Garden Design have appointed Plants at Work Chair Madeleine Evans in the newly created position of client liaison manager.

Ian Drummond, creative director and Co-Owner of IGD, said: “I am delighted that Madeleine has joined Team IGD. She’s an inspirational and creative leader, and her wealth of experience within the interior landscaping sector will only strengthen IGD’s position as the industry leader.”

Prior to joining IGD, she spent the last five years in sales and management roles at ISS/ Tivoli, and 13 years at Ambius prior to that. She is also the current chair of Plants at Work.

Evans said: “I am so excited to join IGD, a company which I have admired and respected for the past 18 years that I have worked in the industry, and I’m looking forward to initiating some exciting projects.”

Drummond added on the current market:

Plant supply has been ok so far but I guess it's still early days. The office side of things is ok as they are all under maintenance contracts and the plants need to be kept alive. Hotels and hospitality is very quiet and no events which I really miss as it's always creative and fun.

"In-Tray Plants, our house plant delivery sevice is doing incredibly well. Everyone wants house plants!"

Indoor Garden Design is an interior landscaping company based in Highgate, North London established in 1975. Clients include the Elton John Aids Foundation, BAFTA, London Fashion Week, Sky and UBS.
