The things we loved most about this year's National Plants at Work Week:

Mosaic 2

  • Of course the bench for our Connecting With Nature photoshoot. Big thanks to Indoor Garden Design lead by Ian Drummond who set the scene for this and to Chloe for conscientiously 'working' on that bench.

  • The new Favourite Office Plant: Philodendron Xanadu - thanks again to Indoor Garden Design for hosting the judging.

  • On the Wednesday and Thursday, Ian Drummond held a workshop for interior designers at Vitra using their artek-Riihite plant pot. Starting with an introduction about the benefits of plants in the workplace, the groups went on to plant up a pot and then enjoyed a buffet of plant-based food. #plantsatworkweek postcards were also distributed.

  • Urban Planters Leeds Bradford ran a workshop for a client. Having been asked by a customer for some help delivering a sustainable project, we decided it would be great idea to run a workshop getting staff involved in growing their own herbs.
