Professionals do it better

Two articles have appeared in the last couple of days telling the story of a company in Yorkshire, RotaCloud, who give every employee £10 a year to spend on houseplants. New staff are even encouraged to visit a plant specialist shop Botanic who in turn encourage the new staff members to invest in a plant or two to cheer up their workplace.

RotaCloud acknowledge the benefits of having plants in the office for wellbeing and stress as well as building on the Millennial craze for houseplants. They say they introduced the scheme about six months ago and already have around 70 pants in the office although we don’t know how many staff they have, the pictures suggests a jungle of plants.

It is really good to see a workplace embracing plants and their benefits and we have responded to the article in the Huffington Post with reference to our many resources of research into the benefits of plants and of course our professional services.. The other magazine which covered the story was The Stylist.
