It’s been a busy season for AC Rentaplant, and what better way to return to the spotlight than with their latest striking transformation – a stunning botanical installation at the newly opened Marcus Hotel in Portrush.

With The Open Championship bringing international attention to the seaside town, the hotel’s design team called on AC Rentaplant to add the perfect natural finishing touches to their luxurious new interiors. Their installation subtly elevated the hotel’s ambience, creating an inviting and vibrant welcome for guests arriving for one of the most anticipated events of the year.
This Victorian-era building with carefully preserved original features such as floor mosaics and tiled façades overlooks Portrush’s dramatic North Atlantic coastline, offering ideal location to iconic Northern Ireland destinations like the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, and the Causeway Coastal Route.
The AC Rentaplant team delivered a thoughtful selection of lush interior planting—perfectly placed in the lobby, lounge areas, and corridors— to provide a warm and welcoming finish to the hotel’s stylish design scheme. The installation brought plants to complement the hotel’s modern aesthetic, frame vistas, and give the interiors a boutique feel. Altogether, they created a seamless integration of architecture and nature, elevating the guest experience while supporting the hotel’s commitment to freshness, comfort, and contemporary luxury.
Founded in 1974, AC Rentaplant continues to lead interior landscaping in Northern Ireland. Their approach combines bespoke design, plant rental and maintenance, and professional execution—delivering living displays that remain healthy and vibrant. Whether installing specimen plants, managing seasonal schemes, or serving large-scale commercial clients, they bring decades of expertise and horticultural passion.
Congratulations to AC Rentaplant for another successful project and for helping to inspire greener, more inviting interiors across the sector.
