10 Brindley Place recently went through major refurbishments and as part of the refurbishment, interior plants were introduced along with an Exterior Roof Terrace and an exterior Living wall both installed by others.

The initial install was challenging, due to the complexity of the high-level display. However, the regular maintenance has proven to be less challenging; the maintenance programme allows a two-man team to attend the site fortnightly to maintain the high level and low-level planting. The plant choices have considerably enhanced the site.

The site’s bespoke design included various plants such as Aglaonema, a range of Dracaenas, Palms, Araucaria bringing a selection of textures and planting throughout the site.

Maintenance commenced summer 2023. Initial challenges were met due to the client’s own hanging structure, which was difficult to access. The maintenance was reviewed and due to working from height, a team of two were allocated to maintain the plants in the structure and the floor standing plants on a two-week maintenance rota.

Initial problems with maintaining the high-level structure, and with meeting the client’s expectations, were resolved by re-visiting the maintenance costs to allow a two man team to attend the site for each visit. This was also supported by the local Contract Manager communicating and meeting the client.

The team are extremely proud of this site; the customer has very high expectations and has built a fantastic relationship with the team.
