Ian Drummond is pleased to announce that he has joined Greenfingers Charity as an ambassador. Ian takes up his role with immediate effect and one of his key tasks is to work with Greenfingers Charity to promote the work that they do and also contribute to their overall fundraising efforts.

Ian says, Greenfingers is a charity that is close to my heart. 'I think it is so important that children who spend time in hospices away from their familiar surroundings have access to nature and gardens to enjoy when time is so precious with their families and friends. Nature is calming and therapeautic and this is chance for the children to step away from their hospital beds and have some fun. Since selling my business I have much more time - time and energy that I want to donate and help this this wonderful charity.'

Ian Drummond is a plant obsessive and plant stylist. He is a multi-medal RHS Chelsea Flower Show winner. He won gold at last year's Show for his Green Room houseplant installation. He is co-author of Plants at Home.

Greenfingers is a national charity dedicated to supporting children who spend time in hospices around the UK. Our aim is to create inspiring gardens for them and their families to relax in and benefit from. They create beautiful, well-designed outdoor spaces for children to enjoy with their family, friends and siblings, whether through play and fun, or therapeutic rest and relaxation.
