on Tuesday, 06 April 2021. Posted in News

With the deadline for our Leaf Awards looming (30 April), we asked Ian Drummond of Indoor Garden Design for his views on awards.

"Awards play a really important role within IGD. Over the years we have won a large number of awards in all sectors of our industry, from RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court, BALI, Covent Garden Flower Market, City in Bloom, Pro Landscaper and of course Plants at Work Awards.

"We have actually just won the Build Award for best workplace garden solutions 2021 and we have been shortlisted for this year’s Pro Landscaper Employer of the Year Award, which we are very excited about.

"At last year’s Plants at Work Awards, we celebrated our 100th Gold Award and have now won a total of 125.

"We choose to enter awards as it a beneficial way of recognising the amazing work of Team IGD. The team are involved the whole way through from nominating a project through to celebrating on the night. It’s also great for clients to see their project become an award-winning one.

"It’s great for the industry to recognise and celebrate creative excellence, which in turn maintains and raises the standard of work across the board.

"The Awards are a brilliant platform for gaining PR and producing marketing material, positioning IGD as an industry leader, all of which helps us in gaining new clients and recruiting new employees.

"We are really looking forward to entering the Plants at Work Awards again this year and celebrating in September on the awards night."
