International Interior Landscaper Day, 17 April 2024 #InteriorLandscaperDay
Here is the press release sent out to celebrate International Interior Landscaper Day, 17 April 2024.
International Interior Landscaper Day, 17 April 2024
#InteriorLandscaperDay
On the second anniversary of International Interior Landscaper Day – the third Wednesday in April every year – plants@work celebrate hard-working team members nominated by their employers as worthy of being recognised for their hard work/special services.
All nominees will be recognised with a badge marking their nomination and of course members may celebrate in numerous ways with their teams to recognise their efforts.
Plants@work and their members will mark their achievements by talking about their hard working teams, their passion for the industry and of course, plants on social media. Posts using #InteriorLandscaperDay will ensure individual recommendations are linked with others in this category.
Celebrations
Companies are free to celebrate members’ achievements however they please. plants@work Chairman, Kenneth Freeman explains, “Companies may want to recognise their team’s contributions by presenting them with their badges in a ‘special ceremony’ with coffee and cake or a special lunch. Some companies may prefer to celebrate by taking their teams out for a meal; however they choose to recognise their company members who have been nominated for this annual award, their celebrations will recognise the good work of their team.”
Feeling Appreciated
Feeling appreciated and valued can uplift moods, affect our performance and make us feel more connected to our work, and bring out the very best in us. Knowing that others value what we do can encourage us to improve our performance even more. According to the Gallup Institute, both meaningful public and private recognition are bigger motivational perks than being given a promotion, bonus, or raise.
Recognition of the achievements of people working for our industry is a good way to show appreciation so we have been encouraging members to recognise their teams and individual members of their teams who contribute to their everyday success.

International Interior Landscaper Day is plants@work’s initiative in cooperation with American and Australian partners and is designated to celebrate all interior landscaping professionals. This year the day will be marked on Wednesday, 17th of April and in the future on the 3rd Wednesday in April.
