“A stunning project which allowed us to create a plant filled interior with many hundreds of plants in the 3 storey atrium which included vertical and horizontal planting plus multiple plants throughout all office and break out areas. We were asked to create an environment that was plant rich on every level, so we added troughs of trailing Scindapsus hanging from the balconies on all levels.”

The client was inspired by pictures from the European Parliament Building Strasbourg which featured vertical planting, so we enlisted the help of Green Fortune to achieve this look in the 3 storey atrium with 14 metre plant wires.

The challenge was to use the space effectively and create an exceptional scheme, unlike anything else in Cambridge.

The plant wires needed a bespoke plumbing solution, requiring engineers and piping on different levels. It required scissor lifts both to install and maintain the hard to reach areas.

Throughout the office areas we added floor standing plants, hanging plants and cabinet top planters so that all areas of the office were green.

The client commented ‘Stunning!’ to show their appreciation of the installation—an exceptional plant filled interior with many hundreds of plants.
