Gold Leaf Award Opulent Holiday Magic at McCann Worldgroup by Nurture Landscapes
Gold Leaf Award Winner 2025
Nurture Landscapes Ltd

| Project: | McCann Worldgroup, “Opulent Holiday Magic” | |
| Category: | Christmas Event | |
| Number of Units: | 350 | |
| Completion: | December 2024 |
For the 2024 festive season, Nurture Landscapes brought to life an enchanting Christmas scheme for McCann Worldgroup, titled “Opulent Holiday Magic.” The brief called for a grand and memorable entrance that would reflect the heritage of the client’s building—originally a Manor House—while embracing a modern interpretation of traditional Christmas style.
The Nurture Landscapes design team, led by Joanna, crafted a stunning installation that perfectly balanced luxury, warmth, and sustainability. The design centred around a palette of rich reds and golds, evoking timeless festive elegance with a contemporary flair.

The installation featured living potted Christmas trees in the reception area, symbolising both the spirit of the season and the client’s commitment to sustainability. At the heart of the display stood a magnificent birch centerpiece tree, lavishly decorated with red ribbons, gold ornaments, and shimmering details. This showpiece embodied the essence of Christmas, creating an instant focal point that radiated sophistication and festive charm
.To enhance the immersive atmosphere, the design incorporated a wealth of intricate decorative elements, including wicker deer, candle holders, wooden horses, velvet tablecloths, glass cloches, live succulents, baubles, wreaths, replica berries, pine cones, LED lighting, and bespoke handmade bottles finished in gold and copper leaf. Every detail was carefully chosen to harmonise with the building’s character and the overall theme.

The long co-working table in the reception area became a central highlight, adorned with a rich display that invited conversation and admiration from staff and visitors alike.

Despite operating with a reduced budget compared to previous years, Joanna and her team delivered a display that retained the same “WOW” factor. Their resourcefulness shone through — reusing decorative elements from past projects, hand-preparing much of the décor during working hours, and scheduling installation over a weekend to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption. Joanna’s expert eye ensured that every reused piece complemented the refreshed design seamlessly.

The use of live potted trees not only added natural beauty but also extended the installation timeline, as the trees could be positioned earlier and replanted afterwards. This approach demonstrated Nurture Landscapes’ ongoing commitment to sustainable design and reduced environmental impact.

The Opulent Holiday Magic scheme at McCann Worldgroup stands as a shining example of how Nurture Landscapes combines creative excellence, attention to detail, and sustainable design to deliver unforgettable festive experiences. By reimagining tradition through a modern lens, the team transformed the space into a warm, welcoming, and visually stunning celebration of Christmas — a display that will be remembered long after the decorations came down.
