Open Green House

Open Green House: There were eight display areas in this ‘Special Event’. This two-day event demonstrated how plants can work within the house. The aim of the project was to transform a North London townhouse into a gallery of plants, showing how versatile plants can be and how they can feature in all rooms of the house, working with all kinds of budgets.

A special mention
Indoor Garden Design now Nurture Landscapes Ltd was awarded a Judge’s Commendation for the Green Open House in the Special Events category. This award was presented by Nicola Bristow, a former RHS Horticultural Advisor.

She commented, “This year's special commendation went to a ”special event" which promoted the diversity and versatility of indoor plants – to encourage everyone that no matter how small the space, the addition of plants make a house a home. It was great for the industry and was inspirational in the simplicity but effectiveness of the message."
