Summer is here, holidays are here! Some of us enjoy sipping long drinks… and some of us enjoy sipping gin — Bombay Sapphire gin, that is! And now, Botanica Nurseries will be enjoying maintaining the vibrant planting at the very heart of its creation.

 

We’re delighted to announce that Botanica Nurseries has been appointed to provide the ongoing maintenance of the stunning Tropical and Mediterranean glass houses at the globally renowned Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Hampshire.

 

 This exciting appointment is a testament to Botanica Nurseries’ reputation for horticultural excellence, creative planting design, and meticulous care. The Bombay Sapphire Distillery, set in the historic Laverstoke Mill site, is not only a celebrated gin production facility that welcomes visitors from around the world. Caring for the site’s landscaping is essential to upholding its world-class destination.

 

Botanica Nurseries will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining the lush indoor planting in the distillery’s striking glasshouses, including specimens of the 10 botanicals that go into creating Bombay Sapphire Gin. The project calls for a deep understanding of plant health, seasonal changes, and aesthetic precision to ensure the planting scheme remains vibrant, welcoming, and follows  the brand’s values of sustainability and innovation.
