This is a challenging and innovative Christmas project as we need to make the same wooden trees look different each year and we have really changed the look and feel of the Zig Zag trees this year. By painting them green and adding warm natural decorations, along with paper amaryllis flowers from Page & Bloom – a charity for Women who have been victims of domestic abuse. With the addition of huge velvet bows to the Giant Wreaths and Zig Zag trees this gave them a natural warm feel.

The Hanging decorations were all handmade and installed using a scissor lift. These were very effective in the open space and really added to the overall warm feeling to the site. By using a giant wreath and wicker animals we added the traditional touch.

They wanted a more traditional feel as they had had white snowy decorations for the previous years and wanted this year to be warmer. They also wanted some red in this year’s theme to tie in with the branding. This was the 1st year that Credit Suisse was going to be in the building so UBS wanted to show them a warm welcome.

We always face the challenge of how to make the same trees look different and new year-on-year.

The client absolutely loved the change in decorations this year and the warmer colours and green trees really make the displays look more traditional. They had so many positive comments from the senior team and some even said it was the best Christmas yet at UBS and can’t wait to see next year’s displays!
