Ambius was commissioned to reimagine EasyJet’s office as part of a major refurbishment designed to capture the airline’s adventurous, travel-focused spirit. The brief was to create a workspace that not only embodies EasyJet’s vibrant identity but also immerses employees in the energy and excitement of global travel every day.
Inspired by the diverse destinations EasyJet serves, each area of the office was thoughtfully designed to capture the unique atmosphere and character of these regions. The design incorporated regionally inspired textures, warm tones, and materials that together created a strong sense of place.

The result is a contemporary, uplifting environment that seamlessly blends brand identity with biophilic design. It’s a space that energises and inspires — one that reflects EasyJet’s dynamic, modern personality while encouraging collaboration, creativity, and pride in the brand’s global reach, and providing moments of calm and connection to nature.

Planting played a central role in this transformation. Lush, carefully curated plant schemes were used to soften the space and strengthen the connection to nature. Real plants brought vitality and freshness to open, light-filled areas, while high-quality artificial greenery was introduced in spaces where natural light was limited. The planting scheme featured a diverse mix of lush species, including Spathiphyllum ‘Sweet Lauretta’, Howea forsteriana, Aglaonema ‘B.J. Freedman’, Strelitzia nicolai, Dracaena fragrans ‘Cintho’, Codiaeum and Yucca (both branched varieties), Dracaena massangeana, a selection of mixed Dracaena, and elegant Phalaenopsis orchids - a creative blend of live and high-quality faux planting. This thoughtful balance ensured a consistent and immersive experience throughout the office — every corner feels alive, refreshing, and welcoming.

The project was not without its challenges. The installation had to be completed within tight timeframes, as multiple project teams were working on-site simultaneously. This required precise coordination and effective communication between all parties. Ambius managed the logistics expertly, ensuring the planting installation stayed on schedule and integrated seamlessly with the broader refurbishment plan.

The completed office design is a celebration of EasyJet’s brand identity — modern, bold, and infused with the essence of travel. From the bespoke planters to the vibrant plant selections, every detail contributes to an atmosphere that inspires and uplifts. The combination of biophilic design and brand storytelling creates a truly engaging workplace that reflects EasyJet’s forward-thinking vision.
