Promoting Careers in Interior Landscaping During National Careers Week
National Careers Week (3–5 March) is an exciting opportunity to showcase the diverse and rewarding career paths available in interior landscaping. At plants@work, we would like to encourage our members to take an active role in promoting these careers. Whether you’re a business owner, designer, or technician, your experience can provide valuable insights to those exploring career options.
plants@work will celebrate National Careers Week by encouraging young people to explore careers in our industry. To support this, we’ve created various GIFs and images highlighting different roles within our field to inspire students and others to join us.
If you're interested in promoting careers in interior landscaping, there are several ways you can join promoting interior landscaping careers.
- Virtual Presentations – Host or record a session sharing your career journey, industry trends, and the range of roles available. Let students know about the exciting opportunities in interior landscaping!
- Social Media Takeover – Use platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to showcase a "day in the life" of an interior landscaper. Share behind-the-scenes insights, your favourite projects, and career advice using #NCW2025.
- School & College Visits – Engage with students by arranging a visit to local schools or colleges. Answer questions about the industry, offer career guidance, and showcase how interior landscaping transforms workplaces and public spaces.
- Showcase Your Projects – Share images and videos of your standout work, illustrating the creativity, sustainability, and impact of interior landscaping.
We believe the industry needs to make a stronger push to raise awareness of these opportunities. We have prepared some useful images for National Careers Week. Additionally, two PowerPoint presentations designed for school assemblies are included, which you can use as a base for your own presentation.
By working together, we can raise awareness of our industry and inspire the next generation of professionals. Let’s seize this opportunity to make a difference during National Careers Week 2025!
